Weatherproof prints to CNC routed aluminum composite sheeting, painted steel posts / roughly 2’ x 3’ each (30 in total) / 2020

Flotsam consists of thirty images taken of objects that I have collected while hiking throughout the world. Each image is printed directly to aluminum and mounted on steel posts of varying heights installed throughout a college campus. This location was at one time the bottom of an ancient glacial lake. Operating like objects that have been carried by a glacier from faraway places, these images––and the objects they depict––are what I imagine to be left behind after the lake waters recede.
